Lisa Waxman, Office Manager and Director of Marketing
Lisa is a graduate of Penn State University. She has a dual role as the office manager with Bala Institute of Oral Surgery (since 1996) and Bala Kids Dentistry (since 2017). She has been an integral part in the launching of Bala Kids Dentistry from the decor to the hiring. Her marketing, creativity and visionary ideas consistently add to the success of both practices. She takes pride in working with such a wonderful team of staff and doctors. In addition to her work expertise, she brings warmth, genuine compassion and dedication to our patients as well as the rest of the team. Additionally, Lisa owns an event planning business, A Little Sunshine, where she produces innovative ideas for variety of social events. When not in the office, Lisa enjoys spending time with her husband and three kids.
Andréa Schiantabasti, Patient Coordinator
Andréa is deeply committed to providing a welcoming and comfortable experience for every patient. From the moment a patient walks through our doors, they are greeted with a warm smile. With eighteen years of experience in the dental field, Andréa has built a solid foundation not only in administrative duties but also in assisting with dental procedures. She truly values the relationships she builds with patients and takes great care in ensuring their comfort and well-being. Outside of the office, Andréa loves spending time with her family including her two children, ages 13 and 5.
Francesca Franzzo, Expanded Function Dental Assistant
Francesca has been with Bala Kids for more than five years. While she was working as a dental assistant with us, she also completed her higher level associates degree in Expanded Function Dental Assisting from Manor College in 2021. While she was there, she earned the Montgomery and Bucks County Dental Society award. Francesca went on to complete her bachelors degree at Drexel University where she graduated Cum Laude. To further her education, Francesca also completed a post-baccalaureate in Speech Language Pathology which allows her to better understand the connection between oral health and speech development in our pediatric patients. Francesca is passionate about providing a comforting environment and making sure each child leaves with a positive dental experience.
Aniyyah Williams, Dental Assistant
Aniyyah, a 2019 graduate of the Harris School of Business, started her dental career at our affiliated practice, Bala Institute of Oral Surgery. She has been a valued member of the Bala Kids Dentistry team for over six years, always eager to support both practices in any way she can. Aniyyah has a deep passion for working with children, and during her time at Bala Kids, she pursued further education at the Allstate Career School, specializing in Expanded Functions Dental Assisting. Along with her many roles at our practice, Aniyyah is currently working toward a bachelor’s degree in Biobehavioral Health at Penn State University. Her strong work ethic, combined with her warm and friendly personality, makes her an essential part of our team. Outside of work, Aniyyah enjoys spending quality time with her family, especially her daughter, Alani.
